School Health have informed us about ongoing measles outbreaks in Europe and the risk of imported cases associated with travel and the subsequent spread of the infection within the population.
MMR vaccine protects against measles, mumps and rubella and children should be immunised before they start school. Contact your GP practice if your child needs an MMR vaccine.
