Mental Health Week 1st-8th February 2021

During the week, please take time to consider your own and your child’s mental health and allow time for activities that make you feel good. Our mental health & wellbeing is important, now more than ever! Find time to relax with calming music, take part in some mindfulness meditation (there are lots of meditations you can access online) do some gentle exercise, spend time on a hobby you enjoy or go for a walk and appreciate the nature around us. A short period of time each day is all it takes to make a huge difference to how you feel!

Please check out the ‘Place to Be’ website for excellent resources
 to use throughout the week:

mindful challenges

During Children’s Mental Health Week, we would like you to draw a heart and fill it with positive things and put it up in your window. You can then share a picture of your heart on social media using the hashtag: #heartsofliverpool

Have a go at these ‘Mindfulness Challenges’ at home to help you feel calm and relaxed…
