Yesterday our outgoing Chair of Governors Mrs Lawrence came back to visit us, so the children and staff could say goodbye and thank you for her long-standing commitment to our school. The children made cards and we presented her with a commemorative vase and some flowers. We would all like to thank Mrs Lawrence for being a friend to the children and staff and always acting in the school’s best interests.
Mrs McGarry from the Liverpool Archdiocese also came along to present Mrs Lawrence with a certificate of thanks for her service. This was followed by afternoon tea for all the staff and Mrs Lawrence left some sweets for the children- a lovely afternoon for all!
