All children from Reception to Year 2 were treated to an amazing, exciting and interactive assembly conducted by Leigh and Cath from CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services) The children learned lots of new information regarding how we can look after ourselves and others, mental health and feelings. The assembly also developed our understanding of children’s rights (UNCRC) further by allowing us the opportunity to play some active games with Mrs Thisilton and Miss Grant used as volunteers. The assembly was also used as an opportunity to present the prizes and certificates for the ‘Design a Badge Competition’ ran by CAMHS. Congratulations to our winners Grace P, Frankie and Harley.
