As December begins and the days become colder and darker, we at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Infant & Nursery School are celebrating the season of Advent.
We are learning about the importance of waiting, preparing and being ready for the coming of Jesus, and the special times that we will share with our loved ones.
In each class an Advent wreath is a focal point, and each week another candle will remind us that our journey is continuing, as we approach Christmas Day. On Monday’s, parents and carers are invited to join their children for Advent prayers at the end of the day; sharing in this time of preparation.
