Today our Year 1 children had a fantastic school trip to Windmill Farm. They learned lots about animals and had a great time enjoying the outdoor play area!

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic school trip today to Windmill Farm – they learned lots about animals and nature, including how to tell the difference between a goat and a sheep!
The children are having a fantastic Maths Party Day! Each class across the school is enjoying a variety of fun maths activities and investigations. We are really impressed with the children’s outfits; representing numbers, shapes and patterns! Well Done! #MathsPartyDay
A huge WELL DONE to our Nursery children! This morning they took part in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle They were so sensible as they walked all the way to the Juniors (and back!). All the children are having lots of fun during Active Week!
Friday 6th July is Maths Party Day! The children will spend the day taking part in lots of fun, maths-related activities. In addition, the children are invited to wear clothing with a number or shape wear a number or shape on their PE clothes.
Parents/Carers, please be reminded that next week is Active Week. Children are welcome to wear, comfortable clothing that is appropriate for sports activities. As the hot weather is expected to continue, please ensure that sun cream is applied before school and that children are appropriately covered up.

A huge congratulations to our school groundsman Don Billington, who has won gold at the Chelsea Flower Show. This adds to his already impressive collection of gold medals. This week our children have had a right royal time! A huge thank you to our staff and in particular our dinner ladies for a wonderful ‘Royal Wedding Tea’ – The children loved the bunting, themed plates and the delicious cakes!
